On January 26th, while traveling south on US 93 below Whitefish, MT, Peg and I passed another Alpine heading north. We, of course, passed the obligatory horn signal.

Are any of you folks those?

Hi there. If you meant to type June 26, you may have seen us as we were ending a trip to Jasper and Banff areas, down through Glacier and making our way back to Kingston, WA. 2006 49' Alpine towing Silver Jeep.

Sorry if we didn't respond to your horn signal.....with four of us yakking away in the coach, we can be excused.

Have had a grand 3 month journey, hither and yon. Will, very slowly, start our way home to Southern CA after a few days in Portland, attendance at the NOWACA Rally at Seven Feathers near Roseburg in OR, and a few more days on the Oregon Coast.

Love our Alpine......!!

Safe travels.....

Hi Joel & Mary,

I would love to know how you stretched your rig to 49'! Darn old typos!!

Anyway, it sounds like you are having a wonderful trip! We did Jasper/Banff area a few years back, and I believe it is one of the most beautiful spots within reach of our motorhomes. We saw more wildlife than on any other trip we ever took. Of course, we haven't been to Alaska, so maybe you see more up there. We're hoping to do that trip next summer.

Hope your trip continues to be safe and enjoyable!

oops! Typos are a menace! 40' is about all we can handle around tight corners!!!

We're also hoping to do Alaska next summer. Let's stay in touch...maybe we could get several coaches to make the trip!

We also are considering the trip to Alaska next summer, please add us to the list of possibles. Now if I can get all those little things working which could be a trip spoiler, like ABS light, no Exhaust Brake, Hydro-Hot, stove. Well, ok, you caught me. Allison is going to diag the Exhaust Brake on the 7th, Mobile RV out of Portland is going to fix the Hydro Hot ($65 fee for transport to my location by their tech) Uhlmann has ordered a new cookstove (Attwood did/will/has shut down factory for two weeks to reduce inventory) so that is going to take a month. ABS light is new, came up after picking up the coach last thursday, will check forums here for a way to figure it out. Hydrualic fluid is good, need to check brake fluid, but last time I did it was good. Will let all know. We have a year to get it all working.
