We have the window valences that have bottoms on them... the ones that catch dust and make it a pain to adjust the shade tension. My wife wants to remove the bottom section of the valences. That will also give us more space on the dining room table. Has anyone done any "remodeling" of their valences?

We had ours replaced with wood to match the cabinets in the coach. They Look great and are no problem to clean.
