Windshield replacement

We had both windshields replaced today, I have had a stone ding on driver side for about a year, then picked up another one in August returning from new mexico. On the same trip. a big rig kicked up something that hit passenger side, which developed a rather long crack. called RV glass solutions in oregon, they contacted my insurance company and contacted an installer in my area. two guys came this morning, took them about 5 hours, good experience.

Just had Safelite repair a rock ding (was there when purchased) on the passenger side on Friday. Without using insurance, total cost was $137. At least we know water can not get in and freeze. It was also a good experience.

Must be an epidemic. Just this morning I had Novus Glass here in Myrtle Beach replace the passenger side windshield. Took 'em about an hour, and insurance covered it.

We had both front windshields replaced two months ago. Several rock chips, and one of them "took off". We live in Kentucky, so zero deductible charge as long as you carry comprehensive insurance. Hartford AARP RV insurance, GREAT service, quick, professional, did the replacement in my driveway. My total cost, $0.00!

Okay, you can just put "4-Sale" in your signature line without elaborating. Where is the link to the for sale page? Preferably with pics and descriptions!

Yesterday we were all packed and ready to leave for a trip - then a wind storm hit. A trampoline from 3 or 4 houses down really made a mess when it arrived at our house. Hood windshield and side of my truck is crunched, and the windshield, wiper arm, and drivers mirror were wiped out on the coach. I have located the wiper arm and mirror and they will arrive next week. So far no luck on the windshield. Any idea who can do a windshield near Weatherford Texas? Most of the local guys want nothing to do with it, and the one that was willing has not found a replacement.

I'm not 100 percent sure about this but here goes.

They look like the same glass used in some MCI Coaches the model is 102 d I believe.

Each piece of glass should have some numbers etched on the outside usually in a corner if you get those numbers you can call Luke at US coach he has great prices and the absolute best service he will ship from the closest warehouse to you we have purchased from him many times and always very happy

Luke's number is 856 794 3104 mon thru Thurs

Tell him gm bus guy sent you

My 03 Glass #'s are VARACON C-1459 & C-1460. Varacon is out of business.
Coach Glass in Oregon makes the glass now. Both sides around $2800.00 installed.
Later, Ken
