The windshield wiper assembly on our 2007 coach (driver's side) BROKE yesterday! The attachment metal bracket broke about three inches from the attachment point. (see attached pictures.)
Uhlmanns RV in Chehalis, Washington (where we bought the motorhome) did not have the part in stock. They sent us to A.M. Equipment in Jefferson, Oregon who had assured Uhlmanns that they would have it...
A.M. Equipment does make windshield wiper assemblies, but nothing with that big a "DIN shaft interface."
Evidently A.M. Equipment HAD made wiper assemblies for WRV, but not after 2005-2006 models.

At this point, we are not sure where to look next.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Many thanks in advance,
Char

Rurallady,

From the photo, it looks like you have the one piece windshield. This requires a radial arm instead of a pantographic arm like the coaches with a two piece windshield use. The radial arm shown on the Diesel Equip web site looks different than the one used by WRV, but if you tell them what you have they may be able to match it.

Good catch Dale. I was thinking the broken base looked awfully large to be the same radial arm listed online. Thankfully Rural was able to ascertain the right part number. Like most of the parts on our coaches, truck service and parts cover the chassis and RV service and parts cover the house.

The windshield arms arrived via UPS next day air this morning! And they fit!

They charged $31.88 a piece (we went ahead and ordered two). The freight was $99.23!

Now we can resume heading south!

Thanks again for your help!
