Wiper Blades for one piece windshield

Does anyone know where I can get 35" wiper blades? I have checked with Ulhamann's RV and they can only get 32".

Has anyone used the 35" wiper on the split windshield? It looks like it should work okay. The upper half of the windshield could certainly use more viewing space.

I have looked at going to a larger blade and I might be able to get a 30” blade without changing the arms. The 30” blade will only provide me with one more inch at the top and one inch at the bottom. A 32” blade would only provide me with 2” of sweep at the top and bottom unless I change the arms to move the center of the blade higher on the window. If I go to a longer arm it will move the blade closer to the center post on the windshield, and when the sweep of the blade goes to the outside it could go past the curve of the windshield. If I were to go to a longer blade without new arms the lower portion of the blade may also come in contact with the body paint at the bottom of the windshield during its sweep of the window.

So I have not spend the $ to test my theory.

Dave:

Sounds reasonable. I currently have 32" blades. Moving up to 35" would stay on the windshield throughout, but I'd never thought of putting longer arms. I'm not sure what the differences between our coaches are, but I'd think they're pretty close. Mine is a (May 2002) 2003. On yours, maybe the length of travel can be adjusted and with longer arms, you'd get better coverage.

Had to replace the blades on my '07 during trip to Alaska this summer. Longest blades available were 28" at WalMart. Bought the ones with a snap on bracket which was easy to take off. Had to ream out the holes a little to get the bolt to fit but they work great and I don't miss the few inches of wipe at the top.

Check with engineer Mike. I believe I sent him a companys name in Oregon who bought out a lot of WRV stuff and they had the 35" blades and very reasonable and quick service ..I have the name but is filed away as I am going on the road but if you can't find it, reply back to me and I will try to dig it up for you..Mel

Mel's link for 34" wipers was Northwest RV Supply in Eugene, OR.
