Greetings from Corpus Christi,

Darn, another 80 degree day here today.

Tired of limited or no cell phone service when we travel through BFE, I am looking at installing a wireless cellular amplifier (repeater) system in the coach. Anybody done that? What equipment do you use? Happy?

I am looking at Wilson Electronics and some others.

Hi Basil,

I am really POd that you are having such nice warm weather there in TX, while we here in LV are freezing at 60 degrees.

Anyway, we have the same Wilson Cellular antenna that is shown on John Canfield's site, the 301119, and we find it to work very well. We don't have the amplifier, but probably would if we were fulltimers like you and Sue.

Good luck!

I was faced with similar issues, I had get cellular communication to an office up in a remote area of Oklahoma. Even with cell antennas and boosters we still were having signal problems. Our solution was a directional antenna. This type antenna limits your movement but when you are camped it will give you superior reception.
