A while back the back up lights fuse blew. The next one blew also. Pulled the lights out and they were ok. Called WRV and asked them to FAX wiring diagram for lights. Couldn't make much use of them due to readability and incomplete info. Sure wish WRV would supply owners with a complete wiring manual as do SOB's. Asked WRV why not, reply was that info is propiatary (ms). Reminds me of the tech at the plant wearing a cap with the words "my job is so secret even I don't know what I am doing". Sure looks like for the $ cost of an Alpine WRV could prvide a comprensive wiring diagrams including chassis. After all Alpine is in a class with the best.

Doug - I have seen chassis and house wiring diagrams from Monaco, Country Coach, Winnebego, and Fortravel. They are all VERY good. Some (maybe all) even show unused wires in cable runs. I suspect they are also "proprietary" but recognize that they are needed by the owner and therefore provide them. As has been discussed many times WRV needs to go a very long way to have adequate manuals/documentation for the owners. I will thoroughly inspect all documentation prior to buying my next coach. I don't care how much I like the coach, without documentation that meets, what I view as minimum standards (comparable to Country Coach documentation), I will not purchase it. That being said, I have found that, although WRV gives the lame excuse of their diagrams being proprietary, with enough begging they will provide diagrams that are readable. It is true, we shouldn't have to beg for them and hopefully they will eventually see the light. Don't give up.

We purchased our 06 40' MDTS in May. Our owners manual came with wiring diagrams all nicely stapled at the back of the manual. Obviously they are available, and they do come in handy for troubleshooting with a new rig.

Good luck!

The wiring diagrams in the owner's manual are for the house wiring only and many thanks to WRV for including them. But, like SteveS above, I think we need more documentation with the coach including chassis wiring diagrams.
