Yesterday, John & I had lunch with Burk Morgan and his wife. We had a great time catching up! After lunch, he took us on a tour of his new place of employment, Adventurer RV. They are located in the middle piece of WRV's old facility on Washington. It was very nostalgic! Adventurer is making truck campers there, and we were surprised at how nice these units are and how much they pack into a small space, and how well they use the space.

Today, while our coach was at Cummins & Aubrey's for medical attention, we drove by the "new" WRV facility (just to kill some time). It looks so clean and empty! Boy, was that sad!

Are you going to be trading in the coach for a camper now??? Or will the truck camper be your toad?

See you soon!

Jim, as you can imagine, that's exactly what Burk was pitching. He thought a truck camper would make a perfect towable casita for us!!

While we were having lunch, Ron Doyle called Burk, so he handed me the phone. I told Ron we were getting tired of our 07 and were ready to pick up our new '10. Gave him a chuckle. As we toured Adventurer and said "hello" to several of the old WRV gang, they all agreed that they could figure out a way to build a new Alpine for us. Thank goodness they can't really, as that will save us tons of money!!!

Just the right size for a dog house for Sammie?

It has been so long I have forgotten...who had first dibs on your '07 when you were expected to get a '10? I guess they have a longer wait that expected!! We are still happy with our '04, so it wasn't us.
