This may help someone. Here's my original post:
I have an '05 Alpine with the Amana residential fridge. I am still learning the control panel and how to work the inverter. Recently, I tried to switch to the inverter to run the fridge. No shore power connected. The lights on the front panel of the fridge then began clicking on and off. I also heard an "on and off" clicking from under the coach. Is there someting I either did or did not do to make this happen? I know there is a reset switch on the inverter. Where do I start? The inverter had run everything fine in the past. Batteries are only a year old.
Thanks in advance, Mike

Before I tore into things, I called Xantrex Customer Service. He said my problem sounded like the "Load Sense" was not adjusted properly. That meant that if the inverter did not sense enough of a load to turn on, it would just immediately turn off and then back on etc. He walked me through the various settings and got me to "Load Sense" which was in the "on" setting. He told me to turn it "off". Problem solved and everything works fine. He said that most people leave the load sense in the off position instead of messing with entering whatever load it might take to keep the inverter on. much simpler.
Happy Travels,
Mike
