Xantrex Alarm Question

So I'm getting an "LdSensitivity" (I’m assuming Ld means Load) alarm on my control panel when I turn the inverter on. What happens in voltage oscillates between 120vac and 3vac to 15 vac, back and forth?

I have looked in the manuals and "LdSensitivity" is not mentioned anywhere.

Has anyone else seen this and what did you check?

I have reset the inverter. I have completely disconnected the inverter from the electrical system.

Usually when these types of things happen I go back to the last thing that was either worked on to touched. So, I had pulled all the batteries out of the compartment cleaned all the cables, cleaned the batteries, etc. Everything is re-installed properly so now I’m scratching my head?

Any thoughts? Much appreciated.
D.

Help us help you--it would be good to tell us in your sig block what model and year of Alpine you have and the model of inverter. I will assume you are talking about an RS2000 -- sounds like the load sensing function is on and there is no significant load on your inverter circuit, so the inverter is cycling between inverter load and sleep. The load sense function has little or no utility for the RV application [in my opinion] so turning it off will not impact on other inverter functions....

For some reason I thought my rig automatically appeared in my sig block? Sorry about that. Anyway, 2007 38' LE with RS 3000 Inverter. I figured the monitoring features would be the same between the RS 2000 and 3000.

But what you're saying makes sense to me about the load sensing Old Scout. I will check that out when I get home tonight.

Thanks

Positive Update

Wanted to thank Old Scout! I finally had an opportunity to get back to troubleshooting my Xantrex problem. I scrolled back through my settings and the Load Sense was "on". Turned it off and inverter is working properly.

Many Thanks.
