There is a XM antenna on the front end of my roof but I can't
find the wire any place around the radio area inside.. Any suggestions?

The antenna comes down between the windshields. Since the antenna on my coach was not compatible with my particular XM radio, with the help of the factory, replaced it with one that would work. It required a little drilling (ug!)in the roof cap but is sure does work now. You would be surprised how many wires are in that space.

Guess they switched to Sirius gear on the new coaches cuz of the move to one piece windshields; they can't run the XM wire down between the windshield pieces.

On my 2006, the XM wire was coiled up and hanging right behind the radio area in the dash. I had an older XM converter so I had to buy an adapter from a radio shop that installs XM radios to go between them. I think the adapter cost $39.
I kept the XM on my new 2009 coach. The factory can still put in XM radios and antenna if you request it.

I found mine hanging down/wound up to the right of center "in" the heating/ac tubes. It was actually fairly easily accesable once the curved section of the front vertical cover was pulled off on my 36MDDS-05. Good Luck.
