01 Islander water filter canisters
I am guessing this will be a stretch too for our orphans but unless I ask I won't know.
I have been searching for info on replacing the 4 canisters for the filtration setup, however I am either very tired and or crazy cause I thought I saw a post on where to get them. I cannot for the life of me figure out where I saw this info.
Are they available or do I have to retro something in it's place. I like having the incoming water filtered.
TIA for any info
Regards RUNDLC

Interesting, I have a 01 Tradewinds and the only water filter mine had was under the kitchen sink. It was a PITA having to take it out and put in a hose with fittings each time I winterized. I took it out and now run two filters between the incoming water hose and the MH. Got them at Lowes and the filters are around 9 bucks for each white and carbon pair. !8 bucks total for 4 filters.
Where are your 4 filters installed at????

The filters that I am talking about are on the pass side underneath in the small bay in front of the tanks. It hangs on the side of the wall. It was made by a company called Watertech industries. I actually just pulled it out tonight, I am not sure when and if the filters have been changed.
I spoke with "Niabi" at northwestern RV supply in Eugene Ore. today. I asked her if there was any truth to them having bought out all of National RV's parts, she said they indeed had a warehouse full of parts from national.
I just may opt to install t regular two bowl filtering system in place of the original one, I am sure it will be a lot less costly especially since these parts may not be available any longer.
She is going to research for me to see if they have what I need. So if you need anything you might give her a call, I wished they had a National parts list that was on line. I guess it would take quite a long time to do that.

Is this similar to what you have.
BlueMAX Point-of-Entry Water Softeners - WaterTech
You may want to call them for help with your filters.

If you still have the filters try to match them at lowes or home depot.Thats what I did and they work fine.I put in a sediment filter (3 micron) and a carbon filter.Marc

I PMed Rundlc, Instead of by passing, I also did away with the UV on the last filter canister, by going to a water filter dealer and buying the same canister as the first two and replacing it where the UV canister goes. Now I go to Lowes or Home depot and use regular house filters in the first two and a charcoal one in the new canister.

Hey Retired
That works too! These canisters are pretty common then? I'll start looking for one to replace the uv
