02 Tradewinds M374 questions

Just got our first A and I have a couple questions ('02-M374-LE-Spartan):
1. The inverter is always on (humming with lights on). Is this normal? If so, how long will it go with not depleting the chassis batteries, assuming it is connected to them?). It even stays on after I push the battery disconnect button (and the house batteries are inoperative). It doesn't make sense, as I would think the inverter should be tied to the house batteries, and if I am disconnecting them, it should kill the inverter too? I do not have shore power plugged in.
2. What are the two AUX buttons on the dash? The manual does not say, and they don't appear to do anything.
3. I have a Spartan chassis, Cat 330HP, and the sales sheet says it has dual ride height, which sounds to me that I could select a high or low ride height in addition to the no air or deflate position. This would be very handy as the drivetrain is very low when aired up, and we will be taking it in fields at dirtbike races, so it would be nice to have the extra high height for the field work. The height button appears to only have deflate and inflate.
Thank you.

I answered question #1 already. I found the control panel that has the 'inverter' button on it, pushed it, and it turned off. One down 2 to go.

I have the 2 aux switches also. They are not wired to anything, but available if you want to add something. Mine is a freightliner, so i can't help you with #3.
