03 National Tradewinds 395 Air brake pressure switch location?

My right rear brake light will not turn off. 95% of the time it stays on after I push the brake and release it. It will stay on until I push the brake multiple times at home and have my wife watch until the light turns off. It seems like the pressure switch. But Iím open to other ideas also.

Thanks in advance!

Just the right rear is a bit strange.

Have you tried pulling up the pedal ?

The switchs are usually right on or near the large air valve, right on the other side of the firewall, behind the brake pedal.

I did try pulling the pedal, with no result. I think I found the switches, and I unplugged them trying to see if I can shut off the lights, but the light just stays on.

Just one light ? What about the other brake light ?

Some brake lights come on with the engine brake. There will be a switch there.

Some brake lights come on with the parking brake and key on. There will be a switch on that control.

In both cases, both brake lights would be on.

A short in the trailer plug or wiring can keep a turn signal lit. But bleeder the air won't fix that.

Hey twin,

Thanks for your insight- I’m gonna look around the trailer hookup and wiring harness to see if maybe there is something weird going on there.

Thanks for the tip!
