I have an 06 dolphin and I have a couple of suggestions. I don’t want to insult your intelligence by my first suggestion but I’m sure that you have verified that the key slot is in the unlocked position (probably vertical). Second on a couple of my compartment doors I have to use a certain technique in opening them. Push real hard with your thumbs on the upper 1/2 of the latch while at the same time pull outward the bottom of the latch. One HARD quick push and HARD pull at the same time. That has worked well for me. Lastly something I haven’t tried but thinking out loud is have two people push in on the left and right sides of the door while your try the technic above or considering that you hear no other better suggestions and as a last resort you may just have to overpower it with a pair of channel grips or a plier on the latch lever and hope for the best. I’ll be interested to see if my push/pull suggestion works.
