Hope someone can help me ID where the exterior TV cable is located on a 2005 Tropical T396. I found the cable in the electonics cabinet and it runs back overhead the drivers side of the coach. Searched all compartments but did not see the cable. Any help is appreciated.

Duane

on my 07 the TV cable termination is in the left rear compartment where the 120v cable is and there is also a telephone cable connection.

The cable TV input was the same on my 04 Tropi Cal T396. There was also a connection in the front compartment on the passenger side on the front bulkhead to hook up an external TV it you wanted to sit out side and watch the shows

Thanks for the repsonses. I will re-check the right front compartment. I do have a double 120Vac outlet there but have not seen a TV cable there. It may be in a wire bindle there.

I really appreciate the folks in this forum!!

Mine actually came down inside the wheel well and then they drilled a hole to bring it into the compartment. Since it was on the back of the wheel well, after driving in the rain for a couple of years it got water in it and shorted out. If you purchased this coach used someone may have cut it off and pulled it back up in the wheel well somewhere, or maybe they never installed the wall box at all and the wire is just hanging out there.

If it's the exterior cable connector you're looking for, check the compartment where your electrical hook ups are.

Thanks for all the RIGHT answers! Once again this forum rocks.

Found the cable tied up in the RF wheel well along with the telephone cable. Guess NRV only did the front compartment install when the Ext TV option was part of the build.

Thanks again,

Duane
