1987 Toyota Dolphin Leak Passenger Side

1987 Toyota Dolphin
While on a recent trip to the Oregon coast we found the carpet, on the passenger side of the cab soaked, with no obvious point of entry.
We had driven through a very heavy costal rainstorm as well as two days of camping in the rain.
The coach has been well maintained so this is a real mystery to us.
Question is has anyone heard of a similar problem, or does anyone have any suggestion as to how this may be happening

Check the window very carefully. Check the walls under and around the window. The vinyl wall covering can hide damaged plywood. See if you can push an awl or sewing machine needle through the plywood easily. If so it is probably rotted from water infiltration.

Willing to bet $$$ it is the heater core, esp. if you haven't replaced it yet and it is a '87.

Water is on the passenger footwell of the truck cab.
Thanks

If I remember correctly heater core leak includes anti-freeze odor and changes the feel of the water. I'm finding just plan old water.
I have only had it a short time so history is unknown
Thanks I wil keep it in mind.
