1998 Tradewinds 7370 engine Temperature

I have a 300HP Cat. in my 1998 tradewindsw. The temperature gauge always goes to the Middle of the gauge. Is this where it should be?

Mine operates with the needle on the "O" in the Normal range. So that is very similar to what yours is doing. PS I just had my water pump and thermostats replaces as well as having my radiator cleaned. The temp gauge is still showing the same temp as before.

I too have wondered because mine seems to be lower than what I expected. It remains below the n in normal. I've not been in any real mountains so I do not know if it will go higher. Took I-77 from NC to Charleston, WV without any increase in temp.
