1999 Ford F53 Triton Speedometer Acting Up

The engine is low mileage in good condition but the speedometer acts up and can zero then peg out then back and the engine hesitates, but let off the gas and it typically resolves. Bumps on the side of the road also triggers it. My battery is grounded to the motor, but I don't see a frame ground. Someone mentioned in another post a loose ground is the issue, perhaps from a fuse box?

We had an issue with our speedo acting up. Resolved it by replacing the speed sensor mounted on the rear differential. Chuck
