1999 SeaView v10-Need AC Compressor

Compressor is dead and local ford dealer has been looking for a month without anything found. I should have started here. I did a quick search but no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Again it is a 1999 SeaView with Ford V-10.
It is the dash air
Thanks in advance.

If the dash control looks like one of these it is an Evans Tempcon, Inc

A compressor is not listed on their Evans Tempcon, Inc - Service Parts

A call to them would probably get you the correct info for your compressor.

I'd think he just looked it up for a 1999 E-350 or E-450 van chasiss with a V-10 engine.

Compressor

Call me crazy but don't you think my dealer did that as well? This isn't a class C MH so it is on the ford chassis but no van. Is it the same?
If so, the dealer is fired.

Yes, I looked it up under a F550 chassis,They have a compressor works p/n 618152 for 185.00 or a everco 58152 for 185.00 also and a UAC co35112c for 220.00.take your old one to match up to be sure....No core charge they are new and have a 3 month warranty.
hope this helps,
Richard

No I won't call you crazy. A lot of dealers get used to getting the parts from the RV suppliers due to higher profits they can make. and some RV customers might really get upset if they knew thier RV parts came from a auto parts store.
I don't see how a A/C compressor for a dash A/C unit for a Ford Van is going to be different from one for a dash unit for a RV.
They are all going to bolt to the engine in the same place in the same way and turn the same direction.
There really is no need for the RV designers to re-engineer what Ford engineerd allready.

On alot of gas coaches the A/C compressor is on the engine when the mfg receives the chasis, they just add onto whats there, why would anybody be upset where the part comes from if it fits and works then giddie up!

Compressor

Thanks for the explanation. I'll get one and take it to the dealer and they can tell me if it matches up. They owe me that.
Appreciate the help you guys. Have a great Holiday.

These are the same people who in the late 70s got upset when they found out that thier Oldsmoble they just bought has a chevy engine in it.
My Father bought one and couldn't have cared less.
Then he got a check in the mail from GM ($300 if I remember right) with a letter saying if he cashed the check he waived all rights to legal action.
He laughed all the way to the bank.
