1999 Tradewind 7372 floor remodel

I want to replace the carpet with laminate flooring and my question is about the slide out. Does the slide out need the carpet to work? Are there any tips on how to do this?

Thanks

I replaced the carpet in the front clear back to the bathroom with laminate. I even did the sides of the stepwell.

I added wood trim around the sides.

New carpet on the slide floor, bedroom, and doghouse.
Linoleum tiles in the bathroom.

I used the glue down vinyl plank to keep it low. Eliminated all of the carpet except under the dinette. Worked out great. 2 minuets with the rechargable Dyson and itís clean

Carpet

I ripped my original carpet out and after pulling thousands of staples replaced the floor with peal and stick tiles. I treated the plywood floor first with a vinyl tile primer. It came out awesome. No issues with clearance. Used a piece of outside corner around the edges for trim. Replaced the couch with one from Ikea while we wer at it.

Sorry about the upside down photo

Carpet

I did jack up my slide to pull the carpet out from under. There was a post here somewhere that outlines the process. You can only get about an inch and a half of additional space
