2001 Dolphin roof material

We are looking at a 2001 Dolphin but are unsure what roofing material was used during that model year. The NRV Documentation I have states "Steel Framed Crowned Laminated Roof". Does that mean rubber or fiberglass? The 2001 Tropi-Cal (Per brochure) states "Steel Framed Crowned Fiberglass Laminated Roof". I haven't physically looked at this particular coach and the sellers don't know for sure.

Did NRV use both that year???

By the 01 model year NRV went to all fiberglass covered roofs. However some of the prior year parts were used to depletion. I had a 01 surfside trimmed on the outside but the inside was trimmed out as a seaview with all the upgrades.
All the roofs are laminated construction just different top covering. If you take a look at the material you will be able to tell if it fiberglass or rubber.

My 01 Tradewinds has a "Bright Tec" roof. No laps or seams, hard surface not rubbery but I've been told it's not fiberglass.

Best to climb up and take a look for yourself. If it isn't fiberglass it will probably be Brite-Tek which is what we have on our coach. It's a much easier material to take care of over the EDPM rubber roofs of the past. Good Luck!
