Any owners of the National RV marlins out there?

Good friends have one, but they are now on the road home from Yuma so they would miss this post.

I recently purchased a marlin and had a question no one has been able to answer. The manual says there is a fuel/water separator located behind the air intake but I cannot find one anywhere! Wondering if they just did not put one on except near the engine.

I think you have the Spartan Chassis as do I in my 03 Tropi-Cal. If so, my fuel/water separator is on the passenger side, behind the rear wheels. It is a little cylinder with a glass bottom that often is covered with grime. There is a valve on the bottom that allows you to drain. There will be mostly fuel so be very careful. In all the years I have had this, there never has been any water in it.

I emailed our friends and hopefully they will get back to you when they get home.

Actually I am still in Yuma AZ, Guess Joe did'nt know that! I believe that my water separator is located in the right corner behind the rad as you open the rear access door. I hav'nt experienced any water in the system in 43,000 miles

Unless your fuel filter/water separator has been relocated, the factory location is on the curb side of the engine. It's not the easiest to reach from above or below.
The water separator is located on the bottom of the fuel filter. It should have a sensor that will activate the warning light on your dash should it sense any water.

Thanks for all of the reply's! I have looked in all of these places but will look again. I'm not concerned about the water in the fuel but you know how it is: If I do not know where it is then that will be the time I get water in the fuel!
