I bought this about 45 days ago and cant find anything on the net that would give me the specs. Like what size tanks do I have for fuel, water holding, etc??
It looked like there are a few like it on this board, can you fill in some of the blanks? I have already learned alot about this rig just from spending hours on this board.

Should have a sticker in one of the front overhead cabinets with all of the capacities.

Thanks Guys.
I printed out the spec sheet to keep in the rig. The spec sheet in the cabinet only covers the water and propane. I have a binder with alot of info on the rig but the owners manual is not there. So it takes a while to find all the little details.

We've had ours since Nov 2004 and love it, even if it's only the 7390. Although we are not fting at this time we spend about 7-8 months in it a year. We snowbird from Oct to April and then back home do a lot of getting out for a few days or weeks in the summer. Even our friends who have a 05 Beaver don't have the room we have. Went to look at a RV show here in Yuma and did not find one that I would consider trading my Tradewinds for. Gotta love the two huge closets.
As far as tips, just the usual, check the dates on the tires, check the batteries and see if they have all the past maint. records.
I just installed a 32" LED TV in the front and a 22" LCD in the back.
There's a lot of folks on here who have remodeled the interior and even the exterior. Come join us at this years 2nd Annual Orphans rally.

Mofa,
We have only made 2 short trips in ours but so far so good. We are leaving this Sat headed for Marksville, LA to loose some money. Almost 1000 miles round trip and no trailer. I am anxious to what kind of mileage I get with no trailer. I am usually dragging 7000 lbs.

Just looking at the specs for the '02 and my '01 I do see a number of differences such as;1)we have the 110 gal single fill fuel tank and an 80 gal propane. 2) the water tanks are different as we have a 110 gallon fresh, and yes, that's over 900# when filled, just ask me 'cuz we carried a full tank into Death Valley over Towne Pass which has 9% up and downgrades..We also have larger black and grey tanks. 3) All the vehicle ratings for the '01 are lower by several thousand lbs.
I almost had to replace my fridge this summer, but they don't make that size anymore, so take care of it. Also just found out that the cooling unit that they had ordered for me,didn't need it,is still on B/O after 5 months.
I replaced the satelitte dish with a traveler automatic as we had Dish and the old one was set for Direct and we have the Dish double box and can watch two different channels at the same time, even if they are on different sats.Expensive, but worth it.
It has a security system, but I've never been able to figger it out and can't find a book on it anywhere.
We love ours and have put about 7K miles on it since this last April when we got it.We've had some problems, but that's what you get with a 10 y/o rig.

Thanks Bigdog, for the reply, how about mileage, does the 330 have enough power, we had a 2007 ford with a full banks kit on a 37' home and it never had enought power always working very hard.

"Enough power" will be determined by you in various conditions. We have a 7370 so we are a little shorter but we only have the 300HP 3126. We have been from one end of this country and back a couple times. Pulling 6% grades with our Jeep in tow we run 45 to 50MPH without going foot to floor. We try to keep it in that sweet spot of 1600-1800 RPM. On the flats it just cruises, effortlessly motoring along and returning 8.5 to as high as 11MPG. If you are trying to stay up with cars on grades, forget about it. I do pass most semis going up and they return the favor on the downgrades as I'm in no hurry.

Please give us an overview of your trip when you get back I am very curious on your milage and any tips you can pass on. I pick up ours Jan 19th, went with all new tires (TOyo's) just to be safe and start somewhere (starting point). Please let me know what is the "happy spot" for cruising, I will be towing an enclosed alum/plastic enclosed 16' trailer (Spyder inside) that is only 1000lbs. We ahhas a 37' v10 before this and I am looking forward to the Cat and mountains were painfull. Have a safe and super trip and good luck with your gambling.

We have a 2001, 7390, with a cat. we get just about 9 miles per gallon at 62 to 65 miles per hour. just to let you know, if you do your own greasing, the front steering pump on the axle has a hidden grease fitting mounted top rear side of the pump, you might find a plastic cap on that fitting. let me know if you need more info,I have been working on heavy trucks for 18 years. tkroher@gmail.com
