I have the original brown (2) 6 volt house batteries that came with the rig that are showing signs of swelling. I'd like to replace them with good quaility batteries. Any recommendations on brand, spec's, etc. On the same subject any recommendations on the W22 8.1 liter chassis battery?

If you do a search on 6V batteries you’ll find many opinions on Trojan and other brands. From what I’ve heard the price as gone up on all batteries recently. Costco and Sams Club sell 6V deep cycle batteries, you may want to look into both those companies. Golf cart service companies can have good prices on batteries also. Good Luck!

I just replaced my chassis battery with a COSTCO series 78 battery, the ratings are higher, and the warranty is better than the Delco replacement. Costs around $30.00 less than the best price I could find on the internet. I didn't look at the COSTCO House batteries, but others have have good results, along with batteries sold through Sams Club.

I had four of the Trojan six volt house batteries. Last year I replaced them with four Interstate batteries that I bought at Camping World. They were on sale at the time for about $110.00 each. The ratings were the same as the Trojans and of course a lot less expensive. During our travels, I've always been able to locate a Camping World so if one goes bad, I shouldn't have too much trouble getting a replacement.

I happened to visit the Trojan Battery website and located a dealer not to far away. I called and he will deliver to my door 2 T105 Trojan 6 volt batteries for $111.95 each plus a $10.00 deliver charge. I will look into Costco, Walmart and Sears to see what they have for comparison.

If you can get Trojan 105's for $110.00 than stop shopping and buy them. When I was in the market for batteries I found a Trojan dealer not far from my house. They wanted $165.00 each. This was a year ago. That's why I went with Interstate batteries from Camping World.

In Colorado Springs,CO Costco has GC-2 6V Batteries for $70.99. These are the same dimensions as the Trojan T-105's and will easily fit. Sam's Club was around $77.99 for their GC-2's.

I have Costco 6V golf Cart Batteries. It's the same battery as Trojan. Same case, different color. Same Specs way better price. I paid 78.00 each for them. Don't let the brand name fool you.

Here is a picture of my batteries. I just want to make sure the cables will fit on any 6V battery that is used to replace the Trojans.
