We are going to look at this unit this weekend and would like you to pipe in with helpful hints of what to look for... Brake recall done, new painted graphics, and new batteries and tires, what else? Help me pick it apart

We LOVE our '98 Dolphin, just like the updated look and extra slide...

We have the same model. Love it. Had it since new. Just as with any other RV, MH. Any sign of water intrusion, drive it see how it tracks , hours on generator (run it and run a load on it suppose to handle noth A/C's, Fill tanks and check for leaks grey and black and fresh, run all appliances on both electric and gas, open cabinets through out and check behind, pull the sofa down look at it's condition open, run the audio visual, window blinds do they work (famous for cord breaking) batteries.

This is a start, sit in your MH and look around and make your own list with this as a starter. Good luck.

Another thought:

One place to look is the vacant space under the very back of the bed in the bedroom slide out . You will have to pull the mattress down from the top and there should be a hatch there; lift the hatch. Look down into the night stands on each side of the bed as you do this. The large space under the hatch just has some electrical wires through it but we found out this winter that condensation can develop in the slide out and collect there. So you are checking for mold or water issues. Also if there is a leak in that slide it would show up there.

Make sure you run the slides out and check the slide toppers.
