Greetings Group!
Has anyone had the occasion to replace a missing "baby moon" hub cap for their wheel cover? Thanks to a lazy tire repair shop, I lost the chrome 5 inch cover from the center of the wheel cover as well as the slip on cover for the 1 5/8" jam nut that holds the wheel cover on. I keep trying to find a replacement, but so far have had no success. There is no brand name or part number on the remaining units so I'm basically searching "in the blind". Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Sacramento Bob

I lost one of mine on a rough section of highway in California. I went to a couple of web sites that have been mentioned and found that the cost was prohibitive. I ended up buying a yellow clearance lamp lens the same size as the cap for $1.00 and painting it with aluminum spray paint. I secured it in the hole with RTV. Looks good.

Hi Guys and Gals!
Well, thanks for the replies. I've tried all of them, and so far, no success. Dicor wants to sell me a complete new set. That won't fly since I'm now retired and money is a concern. No response from some of the other vendors. Camping World, as usual, was no help. They, like Dicor, wanted to sell me a complete set of new liners since they "don't sell odd lots and wont' break up a complete set".
Does anyone else have the "Made in Taiwan, R.O.C." version which my MH came with or do I have the "Odd Duck" version of Dolphin LX Model 6355?
Thanks for your time.
Bob

BOB,
Wont hurt to take a look at this :: Phoenix USA :: WHEEL PRODUCTS: WHEEL SIMULATORS
On my Seabreeze 2007 the alcoa wheels were trimmed by National RV using this outfit for the hub covers and lug nut caps. They also have simulators.

Thanks for the info Richard. They do have quite a collection of equipment. I've printed out the "Wheel Checklist" form and will see if I can find the required information tomorrow. Sure would like to cover up that ugly "Black Hole" on my right rear dual!
