2004 39' Tropi-cal bedroom slide

My bedroom slide out motor has been replaced by the P.O. and it is currently an adacel p1db1259. I feel it is the wrong one due to the speed it moves and the reluctance for it to extend the slide out without help.
Could I trouble someone with the same setup to confirm if I have the right motor on my coach and let me know what it's supposed to be if mine is wrong?

Thanks in advance,
Jim

If I could trouble you one more time Papermaker1, I see on the Von Wise web site the one you have doesn't have a brake, would you recommend that I purchase one with the brake or do you have any issues without it?

The brake is what hold your slide in when traveling.

National RV used RBW and Powergear slide systems in 2004.
Powergear motors do not have a motor manufactures name on them, so your system must be RBW and they use both motors VONWEISE and ADACEL

RBW is now AL-KO they have a web site

Thanks Richard S, the one I have is Adacel with an external brake and without the brake the slide will go out while driving. I removed the brake to replace the screws in it and didn't get it on the end of the motor shaft correctly and until I figured it out the slide came out on right hand turns.
The info that Papermaker1 gave me is for a motor without a brake and I'm wondering if the gear ratio is such that no brake would be necessary.
