We bought a 2005 National Dolphin LE #5342 from a dealer who had purchased it from an auction and the manuals did not come
with the coach. If anyone has manuals I would be more than happy
to purchase or download them.

Hi MJ and welcome to iRV2. I have a National 1342 and it's a great coach. I'm sure that you'll be happy with it. Our coaches are similar so, if there's something special you are looking for, I may be able to help you.
You should post this question under the National RV forum too. There are a lot of National owners that hang out in that forum. It's just a section or two down from this General Discussion forum.

We have an '05 5342 model. The Owner's Guide is for Dolphin and SeaBreeze gasoline coaches, and is about 120 pages. There is also a supplement depending on the type of chassis (WorkHorse or Ford) of 16 pages. These are the ones specific to the brand. There are also manuals for the individual components (appliances, furnace, A/C, etc.) that might be available from the respective manufacturer sites.
I am not at home now, and won't have time or equipment to copy anything for a couple of months. If there is some specific question you have, I could try to get the relevant info to you. Copying the whole manual may be a project I would take on some time, but lots of scanning and conversion. There is some useful info on these sites that may help in the interim. Good luck.

Thanks for your response. I am especially interested in info re: servicing the jacks,
slides, and how to drain the system for winterizing.

Thanks! I did that -so hopefully it will help. The info we really need is re: servicing the jacks, slide and draining the water system for winterizing.

This should be the manual for your Powergear Levlers, if not you can go to the powergear web site for more info.

Here are the manual steps for winterizing (abbreviated)
Drain (be sure water pump and hot water heater are turned off)
1. Drain water tank (valve in drivers side rear storage compartment). Drain hot water heater (remove drain plug).
comment-open inside faucets to help drain lines
2. Open outside shower valves (low point drain). Drain hose and shower head.
3. Drain and clean holding tanks.
4. Remove water filters (under sink and under refrigerator for icemaker)
5. Turn on water pump and allow to run for 30 seconds.
comment-catch water from filter lines or you will have puddles under sink and fridge
6. Attach a blowout plug adapter to the fill connection and blow compressed air through water lines.
comment-I consider this optional, but make sure faucets are open
7. Leave all faucets and valves closed for storage. Be sure to sanitize water system before operating system again.
Adding antifreeze
1. Drain tanks and system per above.
2. Turn off water heater and drain.
3. If equipped with icemaker, turn off valve and drain icemaker line.
comment-removing filters for winter and closing valves is best. Put new filter on in spring
4. Turn water heater selector valve UP to Bypass position (in service bay)
5. Turn "Tank to Pump" selector valve DOWN to disconnect the water tank and engage the anti-freeze inlet to pump suction port.
6. Attach fitting and hose to inlet port and put end of hose in jug of potable anti-freeze.
comment-instructions not clear here, but turn on water pump and cycle to suck anti-freeze from jug into water lines. Having someone monitor jug and replace it when needed is best.
7. Flush toilet until pink anti-freeze appears.
8. Open cold kitchen faucet until pink appears. Repeat for hot.
comment-run at least a cup of anti-freeze into drain traps
9. Repeat for bath faucet, shower faucet, outside shower, and filter outlets under sink and icemaker.
10. Disconnect hose for anti-freeze
overall comment. I use the "drain and shake" method. Drain all the tanks. Close the holding tank valves. Open all the faucets. Go for a drive on a bouncy road to shake water out of lines and water tank and hot water heater. Then I add anti-freeze.
Hope this helps.

Regarding your other questions, the owner's manual does not give a lot of information. There is a bit on manual retraction of the slides, but there are illustrations, so I can't adequately convey that. I believe the main slide is a Power Gear and the bedroom slide is a RBW. Search the National RV forum here for lots of information on those systems and the lift jacks. Also check the chassis forum (Work Horse or Ford) for good information. I have learned a lot here to help maintain our coach.
My experience is...keep the fluid in the power jack reservoir topped off or the alarm will sound off when you try to drive. Occasionally clean the lift jack posts and lube with silicon spray. Watch the worm gear on the bedroom slide for wear. It is a deficient design.

Thank you for the info-it is greatly appreciated. My husband is certainly happy for the info. We really do love our Dolphin and want to maintain the coach-inside and
outside.
Thanks again.

You're welcome. I will try to copy the manuals later for posting. Let me know if there is anything else you wonder about. BTW, I use about 2-1/4 gallons antifreeze for the plumbing. Maybe I waste a bit, but always have to open that third jug.

We are in the same situation as you. Posted a message in September without any offers. We got a 2005 Dolphin 5320. We will be glad to pay (or share) if you get anything. Keep us informed, please.

Finally moving into new house after 2 months living in our Dolphin. It'll be a couple of weeks at least before I can think about copying the manual. My scanner is still in storage. Will look at commercial options also.

I am about 1/3 through scanning the manual into PDF. I posted a thread to find out the copyright status of the bankrupt parent company's documents. I will let folks know when the document is available and how to deliver it.
