Ok, now it worked??? Looks like you're on your way. I'd of taken the whole piece of plastic down and not of drilled the access holes but you said you had caps to hide them when you are done. Have you devised a mounting scheme for the LCD TV? I've been looking at 32" tv's Hoping to find one that has speakers on the bottom and that is not wider than 31 inches. Have you already bought your 26"?

Kent,
Consider loosening and undoing the front and rear 5/16 bolts and allowing base to pivot on the center bolts.

I wonder how it's being held in the closed position while the coach is under way. I like the way he did the bracketing. It gives me some great ideas on how I will do ours. Seems the only real trick is to secure the TV to the cabinetry while moving

I might look at a pool gate latch design for that.

The tv is out and in the back of my truck. My design for mounting is not ready yet. The set is a Samsung 26" model LN-T2642H. This set measures 29.5" across. The opening inside the metal structure is currently 30". My design will be such that I will not have to modify the current wooden bezel. I want that to go back in as it was. My idea is to build a "picture frame" of aluminum that will be mounted in the current metal structure. I will try to keep this updated as it goes along.

Now that this thing is about done, I would appreciate any ideas used by others to add insulation into all that space behind the now vacant tv structure and behind the two cabinets to help stifle the noise and perhaps some of the heat. I just don't want to have to get up in there and glue things in there.
Thanks
Kent

The job is all but finished. Only a few touch up things and the insulation behind the set.
Then I will make all the connections.
The web site has been updated also.
