2007 Pacifica generator slide out

A friend just purchased a 2007 National Pacifica. We have been trying to slide the generator out , but so far have been unable to unlatch the devise that secures the slide. Can someone tell us what the procedure is for operating the generator slide ?

Thanks Don

Assuming it is the same as our 2008 Pacifica, you pull on the front license plate to release it. It can be tough to pull out.

There is also an optional pin on the drivers side of the slide that locks it in place. You need to crawl under the front of the rig to find the pin. It will have a metal lanyard to keep it from getting lost.

Thanks to both of you for replying to my question on how to slide the generator out. The pin that locks the generator slide in place was the problem.

Thanks Don

Don't travel with out the pin in place. If the other release fails, the generator will slide out. Tom 07 Pacifica.
