2008 Pacifica 40E weight limits- need advice and pics

We are preparing to get our toad and towing equipment set up on our new to us DP. My toad weighs 4,400 lbs and I plan to tow 4whls down. Today I noticed a bit of a conflict between what is printed in the 2008 National Brochure and the labels in my coach. Brochures all show 32,000 GVWR AND 42,000 lbs GCWR.

My coach has the standard equipment (360 Cummings, Allison Trans. & 10,000lb hitch) yet the label shows a GCWR of 32,000 and the GVWR is 32,000lbs. Is it possible that this is a typo?

And what is printed on the coaches fed specification labels.Click image for larger version

And on the weight label..Click image for larger version

Why would there only be a 1,000 difference between GCWR AND GVWR? Typo?

If you are a P40e owner, would you send me a pic of your label?
Do you tow 4whls down?
Any issues?

I'd trust the sticker over the brochure, but to be sure, contact Freightliner with your VIN and get the real numbers from the maker.

Called Freightliner and they confirmed the GVWR 32,000, GAWR front 12,000, GAWR rear 20,000 but had no rating for GCWR because they didn't put the hitch on the coach. They confirmed that the chassis has brackets for a 10k LB hitch.

The dealer where I bought it and my local mechanic said that most 40' DP's GCWR range between it should be 38,000 to 44,000 lbs.

It would be nice to see what the label reads in other '08 40E's

I think you have a typo error on your sticker.

Looked at the spec sheet for 2007 pacifica coaches and they were all listed 32 and 42

Here is my Federal Weight label. We tow a Chevy HHR which is fairly light vehicle at about 2400lbs. No problems for us. I don't even feel it back there while under tow.
