There is a vent in the floor between and just behind the driver and passenger
seat. When driving cold air comes out of it.

Also, I was going to change the oil and filter on the Gen. The oil filter that I got from Napa is a larger than the old one. Will it fit into that little space ?

Also, as of yesterday my gen. won't crank over any more. Is there a reset button or a fuse that I might try ?

Thanks in advance
Dale

We also have a 01 Tradewinds. I don't think ours has a vent in the floor as you describe. I'd recheck that oil filter to make sure they didn't give you the wrong one or get one through Onan. As far as starting, if you have a diesel genset, what is your fuel level? The genset won't start if you have low fuel.

The vent in the floor is over the fresh water tank. It allows the air to circulate when the furnace blows hot air into the bay. I found openings behind the wheel that I filled with Great stuff foam.I think I found the openings by removing the grill at night and dropping a light down into the opening .I then went outside and looked for the light.
