Posted before about engine light oil and temp lights coming on and think that has been resolved but low and behold a new issue. A little background left Az. and we are now in Ogden, Ut. had the engine light com on with temp light in Kingman, az. there had the radiator steam cleaned and oil change. Left there and got to Provo lights came on and off checked oil and water both fine. Got here in Ogden and engine did not want to turn over had new fuel filter, primer pump put on and new coolant put in with new radiator cap all seamed fine. Got on freeway 5min and was passed by a trucker who honked and hand jestered to the rear of the coach pulled over and found the toad covered in anti-freeze and noted it was coming from the coolant over fill tube so now we sit till at least Monday. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this????????????

Thanks

Bill

Bill,

You need to get to a Cat dealer and have the cooling system checked for compression leakage. After 30+ years of working with Cat engines I have found that most usually the only reason that they will shove coolant out of the overfill is due to compression gases in the cooling system. I.E. cracked head, leaking injector cup.... sorry to be a bearer of what could be bad news. I believe your local Cat dealer in or near Ogden is Wheeler Machinery. They have a big shop in SLC just off 21st South or at least they used to.
Good luck
