We bought a super nice '99 Dolphin 5330 last winter while in Fla. After we got home, I went through it with a fine tooth comb. Not to find anything wrong, but to just learn the coach and how everything worked (mechanically/electrically). Now here's the puzzler (for me). It is definitely a 5330 as everything says it is right down to the 5330 original lettering on the outside.
But when I went to do some re-modeling in the bedroom, it was definitely a twin bed setup from the factory. Then I noticed the cabinet layout was much more in tune for a twin bed setup than the present queen. I found a spec sheet and it shows the 7 floor plans available. Mine is definitely the 5330 floor plan except for the twin beds and cabinets. It is identical to the plan from the front bedroom wall to the front of the coach.
Would I be correct to assume that National did custom things like this if the customer wanted them? This isn't a problem for us, just a curiosity.
The reason I'm bringing this up is, I want to put a 12V circuit in the small cabinet where the 120V and cable outlet are for the bedroom TV (this is on the front wall of the bedroom shared with the bathroom). I doubt there is any 12V circuit in that area, but want to check to see if anyone knows or if anyone
has done something similar to know about the factory 12V layout.
The reason I want to do this is, I already upgraded and installed both TVs to LED/LCD flat panels. They are both 12V and I have already wired the front up to the antenna boost circuit and it's working great. We are going to begin dry camping more often and don't want to install a house inverter just for one TV, nor have to run the genny to do so. Any input much appreciated.
