96 Dolphin P30 Chassis Dash A/C

I've had this unit for three years now and love almost everything about it. The
Evans dash A/C has chronic problems. The major symptom is lack of cold air from dash when not moving. The shop A/C tech says the high pressure limit is kicking out. After a fresh charge the cold will come back after forward movement resumes for a little time. The coolant temperature of the engine is steady, it has a new clutch fan and electric auxiliary fan. I've heard of issues with the electronic water valve for the heater core on Evans A/C systems. Could excess warm engine coolant cause this issue. The heat control is very poor when it's cold out. Output is either too hot or too cold and does not respond to small adjustments.

Thanks,
Mike

We had same issue with a Damon. I installed a ball valve in the hot water line...took care of it.
