Does anyone know if any heat from the furnace is directed into the basement?

Ok, let me ask it this way. Do any of you NRV owners know for sure if any furnace heat is directed into the basement on your rig.. If you are sure it doesn't, I would like to know that too. Perhaps with enough feedback and year of your rig, I can determine what year NRV may have started doing this. Thanks!

Mine does for sure---it is an 03. Dolphin LX. I keep a remote thermometer down in the utilities compartment and one outside so I can monitor the effects. My basement is ten degrees colder generally than the MH. Fifty degrees inside translates to 40 degrees below.
Just not sure about a 99.

Thanks njs42. I've been doing a lot of mods and upgrades and learning a lot about this coach. Just a few more things to go. I did order a laser thermometer and a remote thermometer, so I guess I can get this figured out on my own. I'm still curious when NRV started doing this. So far, I've only found 1 small access plate in the water bay to access the basement, just big enough to put a thermometer. I must be missing something.

John...

In the 1999 Dolphin specs it states heated compartments. National ran a single duct from the furnace to the basement area.

Thanks Richard! I just had to check a 1999 spec sheet I had downloaded months ago though, and sure enough, there it was. Guess I overlooked it before
