If the road you traveled was bumpy, that may result in a interruption at the thermo couple or relay within the ac unit. This has happened to me on certain highways with rough seams. At the time, I had a class C and smaller genny(4KW). The momentary drop out of the acs was enough to overload the genny and cause it to trip a breaker or just stall the genny. With present coach, I still get some drop out of the ac on very rough roads. The newer ac s have a time delay and don't stall out the gen. Eventually the ac restarts. Also check to see what else is running off the gen. Some generators put out 50 amps but not necessarily at 230 volts. Example, Onan5.5HGJAB specifies only 45.8 amps total. Both outputs are in phase so only 120v ac is available. One ac line may be at 20 amps and the other at 30. If the 20 or 30 amp line is also feeding other loads such as refer or water heater it could be under powering an ac or more likely to trip a breaker at the gen.
