Hello Everyone,
The guy camped across from me has a '03 Tradewinds and could not be happier.
Full body paint that looks like new and not a problem.
He indicated that his was built on a CC chassis. Has the side radiator, big
Cummins and loves the rig.
If could ask, what years did the side wall problem occur and what years were the CC chassis used?
Looking for something newer.
Thanks Jim

Hi Jim,
I'm not sure about the CC chassis or the sidewall problem, but I think the sidewall problem was about '05. There was a string somewhere on this forum about it recently.
We have just purchased a 39' 2001 Tradewinds with a 330 CAT, side radiator. It has a Living/Dining slide and a bedroom slide. We looked for more than a year and couldn't find a coach with the amount of inside storage that this one has. We previously had a 2000 National Sea View, 34 ft. and were familiar with the quality of the National RV product. We appreciate such things as the fiberglass roof (easy to clean) and dual pane windows. We prefer the living/dining slide (33 inches) to the kitchen slide (18 inches). It gives us more living area. We would recomend a National.
Ortega Mfg. in Hemet, CA has front end caps and outside doors for National RV products. A friend of mine just ordered and received a compartment door from them. Also, The Gambler, in Quartzsite, AZ stocks parts for older National products.
Good luck in your hunt.
Larry

Bill, see if you can find out who will be handling NRV coach parts. There should be lots of scuttle butt in Quartzite this yr. It will be valuable info for all of us poor ophans.

I'm real happy with my 02 LTC. We have been living in it for 21/2 months now with our dog and cat. Very comfortable. Plenty of power with the Cummins ISC.
