Cool ABS control module

I have a 2005 National tropical, during a recent trip the dashboard alarm for the ABS came on, after a stop when the unit was restarted the ABS light didnot come on. Before getting home the ABS light came on again. Can anyone tell me what the ABS control module looks or better yet were is it located. Thanks bobmarle Florida

This ABS sensors may simply need to be cleaned. Remove the sensor at each wheel clean lube and replace. I prefer to attend to this ASAP, due to the fact that my cruise will not function if the ABS light is on. I remove the sensor and the metal jacket from the sensor housing. With some solvent clean the interior of the housing, the jacket and the sensor, lube and replace, I use paper towels. I just purchased some spray lubrication for my chain on the garage door opener which I think will work well. Recently we had the Coach serviced and the technician replaced one or the wheel sensors. If I am lucky it will the one that has been causing the ABS light to come on.

Send a message via Skype™ to JJH3rd
can you provide some information/instructions on how to identify the sensor and how to remove it?

Getting under the coach routine. Engine off, in park, brake set, tires chocked.

I keep a tarp, roll of paper towels , lubricant, hand cleaner in a plastic bin as I have been through this routine so many times. The wheel sensor will be located on each wheel hub, inside hub on rear, flashlight helps. Once you locate the sensor (look for wiring that runs to the sensor/ hub) spray with some WD-40 to loosen, using a cloth and carefully work the sensor out of the hub. Clean and replace, per previous post. You might also you tube or google wheel sensor replacement to get a visual.
