Unhappy AC low pressure 2000 tropical

hello all

the ac on my 2000 tropi cal isn't really blowing cold so i figured
why not give one of those recharge/sealant cans a try

i looked in the engine compartment and found a fitting on the passengers side, tried putting the ac can fititng on (it fit)
but the can didn't refill the system (in fact it seemed like nothing at all happened

so i figure either i am on the high pressuer fitting and thats why the can didn't refill the system, or maybe theres a valve i missed that needs to be opened in order to refill the ac system

so my question (after this long explanation) is this, can anybody tell me the location of the low pressure fitting on a 2000 tropi cal for the ac is?

or was i already on the right fitting and missed seeing a valve

any help would be appreciated

Did you have the engine running and a/c on?

in answer to your question yes the motor was running, and the ac was on

i know on a car there is a high pressure, and a low pressure ac port
i believe its probably the same on an rv dash ac. thats what led me
to ask if anybody knows the location of the low pressure port

will be taking another look today after cleaning the awning

the shop could not find mine either.
fyi, there are problems with the valve not opening/closing properly.
sometimes my AC is fine, other times not so good.
