We would like to replace our existing rangetop with range/oven combo. 2004 Dolphin 5355 has three drawers under range top. Anyone done this remodel? Wife thinks she won't like the convection oven when we boondock.

I'm watching this thread cause I've thought about doing the opposite. Reove my stove and only have the burners. That would give me more storage space.

We had Camping World install a range with oven in our old motorhome, it was no big deal. Cost us a big drawer. We have just the convection micro in our Tradewinds. We have used it for everything in the last 2 1/2 years while living in it. My wife cooks everything from cookies to roasts. It has done a great job on everything we have tried. The only issue would be that you would need to run the gen to use it while boondocking. You wife may want to give it a try before you sacrifice the extra storage.
