Air conditioning ?

Ok I have a problem with my A/C in the dash. Sometimes it blows cold air and sometimes it doesn't. I have checked the charge and it reads charged. Does anyone have any clues as to what is going on. I would take any suggestions that you may have.

Thank You

Your issue could be a faulty connection at the compressor's electric clutch. You could hook in a temporary indicator light to come on when the clutch has power. If it's not on when you're calling for A/C, it would indicate a bad relay or other connection.

When you say sometimes blows cold , sometimes it doesn't ?

Does the air continue to blow out the dash vents , but not come through as cold ?
Or does the air stop blowing through the vents?

In our MH ('05 Dolphin) the smallest rotation of the temp knob causes the air temp to swing wildly.

One to keep in mind most of the controll are vacuum operated so low vacuum can cause them to not operate.

I had a problem once that turned out to be the heater control valve. It would stick open. Even though the AC was working the heater was also putting out hot air and defeated the AC.

Could be a compressor clutch issue, heater core valve, expansion valve/filter issue [high 134a pressure cut off], condenser fan cooling, etc. You say 134a pressure is ok but need to monitor when going thru a cool/not cool cycle to make sure it stays within parameters based on ambient temps.....
