Air cushion question

Equipment 03 Tradewind Spartan chassis. MH parked with jacks extended. Air cushions switch in the dump position. When I start the engine the passengers front air cushions begins to fill. What is causing this and how do I fix? Thank you.

When the engine is started, the air compressor starts to build air pressure and your air springs will start to fill to proper ride height for travel. The dump button usually only is open as long as you hold it down, so the dump valves are closed. If the jacks have the coach level on unlevel ground, your ride height valves will try to fill or dump air to bring distance between the frame and axle to the proper setting. I wouldn't be concerned unless it continues to happen on level ground with jacks retracted.

Thank you for the response. Mainly I am just looking for what could be allowing an air bleed on the passenger side tank. It takes over night for it to bleed down but a few months ago it would hold air for 4 -5 days. Any ideas where to start looking? FYI, the other tank will bleed down after a couple days.

Painting soapy water on all valves and connections is one way to find a leak, slow leaks might not show up unless you have or can borrow an ultrasonic listening device to listen for leaks. Dump valves and leveling valves would be a good place to start. If your air system has a manifold with multiple hose connections, they are often places leaks start.
