I just had my air compressor replaced and several problems have cropped up since it was done, but one of the worst was the fact that the air hoprns don't work. I mean, what's the use of having a big DP if the air horns are in-op?
I have checked the connections at the air chuck and the reg horn works. Is there a special air horn relay and where would it be? I'll be checking the switch tomorrow, but that's a real job, what with my sore knees.

There is a air horn relay, at least, there is on my Islander. When I got my Islander, the air horn didn't work, I could see it was the relay, located in the outside compartment drivers side, first compartment. Replaced it, still didn't work, then I traced the air line from the relay and found a kinked hose about 18" away in the same compartment tucked out of sight. Fixed it, works now.

The relay on mine is in the electrical compartment below the driver side window. Somehow my solonoid got hot and melted the wires, grandchildren may have helped while we were parked. I replaced it, now works fine.

Found it and when I get on here, guess what,it's the same thing.Wires were all melted and burned thru and when I went to replace the wires,I found that the whole inside was melted also.Wrote to Grover to see if they have the part and how much and then found it on line thru Nextag at a place for 63.82..I'll wait for the reply from Grover as to cost before ordering it..I would like to get it before the next trip. I wonder what causes them to burn like that, other than age.Mine is in an '01 Tradewinds.

I have a 2005 Dolphin LX and I was told that the Airhorns are there for looks and aren't connected. I would like to make them work if possible. Any Advice?

On the Dolphin the hornes are Electric not air. They may be working along with the under hood horns.

Thanks for the offer. I emailed Grover and they have the replacements for $125 plus shipping and handling.Went online to finditparts.com,or something like that and they had them for $63 plus shipping and the part actually came in a Grover box...It's installed and working great. As was mentioned before and one of my mechanics told me,make sure you have plenty of air pressure before blowing the horn as the volume of air keeps the valve cool..
