Air pressure gauge

I have a front tank gauge that reads zero and the brake warning light is on but all systems work. Is it a faulty Vehicle Data Unit and where is it located?
The RV is a National Caribbean on a Spartan Chassis.

Welcome to iRV2.

Sorry you're here with problems.
I don't know if Spartan ever used the same type of gauge system that gave Freightliner air gauge operation problems ; VDC ( Vehicle Data Center ) that they used for a few years; 98 > 02.
Could you provide some more info on your coach .
Chassis year ?
Have you checked the back of the gauge to see if there is an air line attached , or just wiring ?
Have you tried calling , Spartan Motor Home Support, with your serial number ?
They should be able to provide you with an air system diagram, that would narrow down locations of sensors.

Thanks for info. Gauge has wires attached. When wires changed over, rear tank showed empty and front tank full. I have not located the VDU.

Coach is 2001 35 ft on Spartan Summit 2000 chassis. There are no sensors on the tanks but two 1/4 inch air lines that may run to the VDU. I have found a 4 inch square black box in the rear engine bay that may be the VDU. Is it expensive to replace it?

Here is some info on the Freightliner system, as I said , I have no idea if Spartan used the same system, ( Medallion Instruments ).
For pricing , Spartan help line would be you best source of info.
