Call Freightliner with your chassis model number. Or take one out and go to a truck parts store like Franklin Truck or Motor Trucks

X2, Freightliner help line can provide a part number that you can cross reference to get replacement parts.

1-800-385-4357 Have your serial number handy.

Inquire about joining " Access Freightliner " for online access to parts info for your chassis. Wiring diagrams and schematics too.

Air Suspension

My '98 Tradewinds hasn't leaked yet, b ut they are a little dry-rotted which sparked my interest as to when they should be replaced. I checked with FreightLiner in SC and was told to replace all would be around $1200.00

I thought mine were leaking also but after replacing the bag found that it was the valve next to the bag. Don't repeat my mistake....

I'm gonna have to agree with Joec about checking the valves first. I am gonna have to crawl under mine and do something, adjust or whatever, my dump valve. It doesn't always want to close all the way when you are airing it up after staying somewhere. Just gotta find it.

Does yours have the "airliner" suspension?? if so the air bags are easy to replace if you need to. (you will either need Jack stands or some SOLID wood timbers) I have to agree with bigdog on checking to see where the leak is first.

IF yours has the airliner under it like the OTR trucks have the bags are one of the most common air bags there are.
I bought mine for just under $100 each a few years ago at the local big truck parts store.

Mine only had 3 nuts that hold them on.
these look just like them at $112
