We bought the coach in August and I have yet to figure out how to operate the electric roof horns!

Probably they operate off the horn button on the steering wheel. They could be plugged up with dust & dirt. I had to get on the roof and disconnect to check if it was getting 12v. It was. Cleaning the horn and diaphragm did no good. I bought a new one. Does the automobile horn under the hood work ? Are you sure you do not have air compressor for the roof horn ?

No air compressor and they don't operate with the horn button on the steering wheel.

Once we get some decent weather I'll head up and check the voltage and see if they're clogged.

Thought maybe there was a switch I was missing.

Thanks

Maybe the prior owner installed a switch. Our roof/automobile horns work off the steering wheel button...both at once.

I found that both roof horns on my previous & current Dolphins has shopped working, the 2 auto horns under the hood where OK. When dis-assembled, both had dirt and
bugs inside that needed cleaning, but what really was preventing them from working was an adjustable set of contacts(or points) in each horn. The contacts may need cleaning, and maybe even the contacts gap needs slight adjusting as the gap between the metal diaphragm and magnetic coil has to be such that the diaphragm oscillates creating the horns sound. If the gap is adjusted, apply loctite after. These 12 volts horns need lots of current, I had to take a 12 Volt ATV battery up on the roof to power them when adjusting the points and testing them as a 12 volts power supply couldn't supply the current they needed.
