With 25 HRS. on my generator the automatic transfer switch has started to Buzz, it use to have a soft HUM when the generator was running.
The shore power side of the switch is just makeing a soft HUM when pluged in.

Both side of the switch have 110 volts and are working ok. May be the fix is to just turn the volume up on the TV or the stereo?

If you know how remove cover and run a $ bill thru contact points of relays also look for iron filings caught between pole pieces. Do this with power OFF and do not cross anything metal across ckt board of transfer switch.

Out transfer switch buzzed and I removed the cover (all current off) tighten all connections as many were just finger tight) and then took my air hose and blew out the contacts and was suprised at how much stuff flew out.. Put the cover back on and it was back to beeing quiet..
