I have a 2005 TropiCal T370. Does anybody have an idea as to how I can get access to the back of the TV to access the inputs, without taking the TV down?

Where as I have no expierence with your rig, I can tell you about mine, 2005 Damon Intruder.. The front TV is a CRT type (Old analog) bolted into a cabinet.

Well, when I close the back up monitor so I can sit on the dash I can stick my head up "Behind" the cabinet between it and the windshield.. And when when I do so (sorry can't resist using lines from songs or poems) What to my wondering eyes shuld appear?"

But a ventalation panel designed to vent the cabinet to reduce heat

A bout 8 screws later the panel was lying on the dash and I had full access to the cable ports so I could fix what DAMON screwed up (Yes, they hooked it up wrong, must have been a monday job)

I have a 2005 Sea Breeze LX with a 27" TV. I'm not sure of your setup, but here's how I accessed to inputs on my TV. I removed fiberglass panel under the TV allowing for very limited access to the back of the TV. I was only able to squeeze my arm up to the area where the input ports are. I studied a diagram of the back of the TV in the user's manual and tried to memorize where each of the connections were. I had to feel around the port area until I felt the right port and plugged the wire in. Kind of hit and miss, but I surely didn't want to remove the TV just to plug in a wire.

If its anything like the 2002 Tradewinds, I have to stand on a step stool and reach in from one of the side cabinets. Its all I can do to reach in behind. Problem solved by replacing the bubble tube with a LCD. Now it is much easier.

Don't know about Tropical, but on my Georgetown, there's a grill, about 18" x 9" on the face of the TV cabinet nearest the windshield. Four screws out, the grill comes off and you have access to the back of the TV.

Maybe yours is similar. It's a bit cramped, working in the space between the back of the cabinet and the windshield, but manageable.

I've been moving the components around in the two side cabinets to get a DVD player and a Digital Converter in the forward overehead, in addition to the existing distribution box and the VHS tspe machine. I took the bedroom TV out. We don't have a TV in the bedroom at home, so why would we need one in the motorhome? We don't watch that much video anyway.

We've got an 05 Dolphin. Probably a similar set up to yours. I removed the panel directly under the tv. I needed to hook up a play station game platform. I used a hand held mirror to see the inputs and make sure I hooked it up properly. Tight squeeze but it worked ok.
